Welcome, and thank you so much for stopping by our humble new abode! We are thrilled to present the new and improved Loved Homes website! Feel free to have a look around; there’s new stuff to see everywhere.

We are Loved Homes; born and bred in Austin, Texas in the early summer of 2014, we are proud to live and work in such bright and blossoming boroughs. We have been focused on the rehabilitation and redevelopment of single-family residential homes in Austin and the surrounding hill country areas, as well as a few properties in San Antonio; we are expanding our repertoire to also include commercial and multi- family residential ventures as well.

You’ve no doubt heard the lament, “They just don’t make ’em like they used to.” That door swings both ways; sometimes, you don’t do things the way they’ve always been done because those methods or materials no longer work. However, our neighborhoods and communities are inundated with these well-loved and beautiful homes and businesses, each with a specific set of needs. Sometimes, those needs are simple– a little lipstick here and there, or minor updates to pre-emptively replace home features that need attention. At other times, these homes resemble The Velveteen Rabbit– “most of [their] hair has been loved off, and [their] eyes drop out and [they] get loose in the joints and very shabby.” (Bianco) These houses are real, standing testaments to adaptation to all of the elements of urban life.

We specialize in breathing new life into these properties and bringing investment opportunities to their local communities. We meet people who feel as though they’re drowning in their investment– in financial hardships or repairs, for instance, and we offer them the opportunity to loose the chains of their burden. We adopt these well-loved properties into our fold. We specifically work with designers to accent the incredible craftsmanship and material hardiness while still working to bring upgrades to the home that will improve their environmental impact. There is a labor of love latent down the line from start to finish; preserving, recycling, and reusing as much of the original property as humanly possible.

Would you like to invest in local Austin real estate? We can help you do that. Would you like to sell your home, or maybe even buy one? We can help you do that, too. Would you like to receive an email whenever we post a new blog? What are you waiting for? Let’s get started!

All you have to do is push that little triangle at the bottom of this page, and boom. You’re well on your way.

We know that this blog is still in its infancy but trust us– You’ll definitely want to stay tuned. We’re glad you’re here. 🙂
